Woes of a Working Mother
She gets up early in the morning
While her baby sleeps
2 months old and the mother is now working
The child is raised by her happy grandmother
Who looks after her
The unhappy mother sits reluctantly in front of the computer
And wonders
‘Oh my precious, I hope you understand
Mommy works hard so that you can have what you want
in your hand and later I shall take you to Disneyland.’
This routine goes on forever
One day she comes back home really late
And sits with her daughter who is now eight
She realizes what all she has really missed
As the daughter clinges to her grandmother while being kissed
