My Fiery Red and Your Icy Blue
Let us sink into deep pools of Purple Passion
I dare not say my love is of an older fashion
A valiant knight on his noble steed, rescuing the damsel from a tower,
A beauty queen harboring no signs of spleen but a virginal sense of power,
The Fair Maiden and the Fighting Prince and all the fantasies a grotesque dragon can devour,
One after the other; we live and exist in the world of reality.
Do lies live to reinforce love as a truth?
Or is it enough for love to foster its own fruit?
Everything moves fast, life’s force ever-changing, shrewd and dynamic
Just calm down and feel even a moment’s magic,
As we fervently breathe each other in, calming our soul-fire
Swinging and spinning back and forth on time’s ambiguous gyre.
