When languages start dying, the culture and traditions linked with them, deteriorate. Be a part of this event in which Dr. Peggy who is a music teacher at Vasant Valley School, New Delhi, shares the journey of a language and how it is suffering in the time of globalization.

Speaker

Dr. Peggy Mohan. Born in Trinidad, living in Delhi since 1979. She has a Ph.D. in linguistics and has done research on Bhojpuri which is spoken in Trinidad, West Indies by the Indian community. She’s the author of three novels. Jahajin, The Youngest Suspect, and Walk in C-Minor.
